Fishing License Information

Resident anglers: Alaska residents 18 and older need an Alaska sport fishing license to fish.

Non-Alaskan resident anglers: Nonresidents 16 and older need an Alaskan sport fishing license to fish.

An Alaska fishing license can be purchased online at Alaska Department of Fish and Game website or at many sporting goods stores around Alaska.

Depending on the season and trip specification, a king salmon stamp may be necessary.
What to Bring

We provide all of the fishing gear needed for Homer halibut charters, however, we do recommend that you dress in layers and bring rain gear—even on sunny days. The day breeze can be quite cool and weather changes can occur.

Please do not bring large coolers, as they take up valuable deck space while fishing.

Fishing boats in Alaska are federally regulated, therefore, it is illegal to possess or consume drugs while onboard. Responsible alcohol consumption is acceptable, however, this is a family friendly trip and the captain and crew maintain the right to uphold this standard for the safety of all passengers.
Cancellation Policy Details

Advance Cancellations (60 days or more): If you cancel your reservation 60 days or more before the trip date, you will receive a full refund.

Late Cancellations (within 60 days): If you cancel within 60 days of the trip, a refund will be issued only if we are able to resell your seats or the entire trip.

Rebooking: You have the option to rebook your trip once, within the same calendar year, at no additional charge, subject to availability.

Cancellations by Us: If we need to cancel the trip due to mechanical issues or weather-related problems, you will receive a full refund.
